Free Dinner and Design Session at Central Park!

Following a 2015 Master Plan for Central Gym Park, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is scheduling a first phase of improvements to begin construction in the spring of 2018.

Please join us at a special CANDO neighborhood meeting that includes a family-friendly visioning and design session. Dinner, children’s activities and Spanish interpretation will be provided.

About the Central Gym Park improvements project

MPRB is working with the community to determine the first phase of improvements to the park, using the master plan approved in 2016 through the South Service Area Master Plan.

This project is funded by the 20-Year Neighborhood Park Plan (NPP20). NPP20 helps address racial and economic equity across 160 parks and provides $11 million annually to maintain, repair and replace facilities. More information: minneapolisparks.org/NPP20.
