Draft Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Action Plan is available for public review and comment

Public comments accepted until April 26, 2018

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is seeking online comments on a draft version of its Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Action Plan.

The plan outlines steps to meet current ADA standards for state and local governments, which include updates to the federal guidelines that address access to recreation facilities as well as emerging practices and technology. The plan presents a framework for ADA compliance for the next 25 years, to support the full inclusion of people with disabilities and ensure access to Minneapolis’ award-winning park system.

MPRB will review all comments made during the public comment period to consider them in finalizing the ADA Action Plan.

Review and Comment on the draft ADA Action Plan

The plan is available on the MPRB website. (Note: the cover includes the dates “2018 – 2010,” an error that will be corrected when the final plan is published.) Please submit all comments online.
